X-ray
For comprehensive imaging, all locations are equipped with Digital X-ray. Digital X-rays are used to diagnose a wide range of illnesses and injuries. X-rays are frequently used to evaluate bones for fractures, lungs for pneumonia, and wounds for foreign bodies.
Common X-ray Services:
- Chest, Lungs (Chronic Cough, Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Coronavirus)
- Upper Extremities – Finger, Hand, Wrist, Forearm, Elbow,
- Lower Extremities – Toes, Foot, Ankle, Leg, Knee
- Hip, Pelvis
- Spine
- Skull – Head, Nose
Ultrasound
Visit any TAUC location to be evaluated by a board-certified provider. Once the provider recommends an Ultrasound, an appointment will be scheduled at our Rock Hill location based on availability. If there is any emergent concern, we will recommend referring you to the hospital for an immediate ultrasound.
Ultrasound is a diagnostic tool that uses sound waves to produce images within the body.
Common symptoms and diagnoses:
- Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
- Testicular Torsion
- Swelling of Internal Organs
- Swelling of Extremities
- Vaginal Bleeding
- Gallbladder Disease
- Examination of the Thyroid Gland
CT Scans
CT scans provide a more detailed image than a Digital X-ray. It can be used to scan any area of your body and the image can then be used to investigate a greater range of symptoms, including but not limited to:
- Appendicitis
- Inflamed Gallbladder
- Diverticulitis
- Internal Bleeding
- Kidney Stones
- Head Injury
- Stomach Pain
- Swollen Glands
- Headache
- Coronavirus (COVID-19)
- Lumps and Masses
All CT Scans are sent to a radiologist who will perform an in-depth analysis of the image and compose a written report of its findings. After the scan patients are provided with a written report as well as a treatment plan outlined by one of our urgent care providers.
